THE ROLE OF INTERNATIONAL SURVEYS IN THE REFORM OF EDUCATION SYSTEM
Abstract
More than 10 years ago Georgian government initiated one of the largestreforms of education system in the history of the country.As known, any kind of changes, especially reforms of this scale require regular monitoring and evaluation of the progress. This is an imperative prerequisite of the success.Ongoing evaluation should provide the system/decision makers with the necessary feedback to adjust correct and better implement planned interventions.
