Objective of this research is assessment of efficiency of various administration methods to Fentanyl for the pain syndrome relief whether with bolus or subsidized introduction. Observation carried out with 42 female patients aged 18-58 years old, equal in scale and operating trauma gynecological operations. At certain stages: before surgery, at the peak of the operation trauma, at the end of the anesthesia and surgery, and during early postoperative period, there were registered values of hemodynamics, temperature gradient, concentration of cortisol and consumption of Fentanyl.

It was established, that general anesthesia and surgery in the conditions of bolus introduction of Fentanyl was accompanied by hyper-dynamic function of blood circulation, expressed violation on microcirculation and increase of cortisol concentration in the blood. On the contrary, subsidized introduction of Fentanyl provided stability of hemodynamics, microcirculation and neurohumoral status.

2014-06-26T00:00:00+04:00 Copyright (c) https://openjournals.ge/index.php/ATWH/article/view/624 SMALL BOWEL OBSTRUCTION IN A YOUNG REPRODUCTIVE AGE WOMAN 2014-10-16T11:45:22+04:00 K. Doklestić nikoliklesti7000@yahoo.com A. Karamarković nikkvoKaramarkovvli@yahoo.com
Endometriosis is a benign condition that can presents as surgical emergency because of its complications. Intestinal endometriosis affects up to 37% of women with endometriosis and it is rare to manifest as an acute small bowel obstruction secondary to ileal endometriosis. Small bowel endometriosis should be considered as a differential diagnosis when assessing females of reproductive age with acute small bowel obstruction. We present the two cases of female patients with intestinal endometriosis who presented with symptoms and signs of an acute small bowel obstruction requiring emergency surgery. A small bowel resection was performed in those cases. Histopathological examination confirmed a diagnosis of endometriosis with fibrosis and stricture of the bowel segment. Endometriosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of every woman of childbearing age who presents with abdominal symptoms. Clinicians should keep in mind this condition in cases of abdominal emergency in young female patients.

2014-06-26T00:00:00+04:00 Copyright (c) https://openjournals.ge/index.php/ATWH/article/view/625 HYPERTHYREODIZM INDUCED OSTEOPOROSIS – ASPECTS OF COMORBIDITY 2014-10-16T11:46:32+04:00 M. Mamaladze niikoaMamaladzevoqoli@yahoo.com Despite that the linkage between thyroid gland and osteoporosis, revealed long time ago, the problem is still not losing a high priority and remains the matter of intensive research. Two groups of women were examined. I group – 17 premenopausal women with hyperthyroidism age of 20 - 40 years; II group – 18 postmenopausal women with hyperthyroidism age of 45 - 60 years Women with hyperthyroidism were medicated with thyrozol (20 to 30µg/day) for two years. From a preliminary examination it appears that both, young and older hyperthyroid patients showed a significantly decreased BMD compared with control group. However, the risk of osteoporosis is even greater for women who are already postmenopausal. It is assured, that in patients with hyper thyreodizm induced osteoporosis bone mass may be revered with treatment of thyroid disease. Those who show evidence of decreased BMD should receive calcium-rich food and prescriptions of osteo therapeutics when deemed necessary. 2014-06-26T00:00:00+04:00 Copyright (c) https://openjournals.ge/index.php/ATWH/article/view/626 PECULIARITIES OF SLEEP AND ITS DISORDERS IN CHRONIC PAIN SYNDROMES 2014-10-16T11:52:59+04:00 V. Skuratovskaya nikkvolvSkuratovskayali@yahoo.com
The review summarizes current data on differences in sleep and the mutual influence of chronic pain syndrome on sleep disorders in both men and women. The close relationship between the pathological processes, seriously disturbing quality of life has been demonstrated.

There are provided data about the influence of the hormonal status of women on sleeping phases. More frequent prevalence of sleep disorders in women with chronic pain syndromes, in comparison with men is underlined. Plenty of evidence suggests that chronic pain is significantly disrupts the normal nocturnal sleep and sleep disorders are contributing significantly to the pathogenic effects of chronic pain syndrome in patients. It was also discussed the close relationship between sleep disorders, chronic pain and depression in women.
2014-06-26T00:00:00+04:00 Copyright (c) https://openjournals.ge/index.php/ATWH/article/view/627 THE ROLE OF FREE RADICAL OXIDATION AND ANTIOXIDANT PROTECTION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INFLAMMATORY PROCESSES IN THE PERIODONTIUM OF FEMALES 2014-10-16T11:54:42+04:00 I. Sakvarelidze nikoldfssddg7000@yahoo.com
In the mechanism of changes pathologic shifts in the liquids of the oral cavity of the free radical oxidation or hyper oxidation (CPO) play an important role in which nitrogen oxide participates. Nitrogen oxide facilitates the occurrence of inflammation its further progress, vascular disorders, aggregation, platelet adhesion, atherosclerotic changes of vessel’s walls – complex of changes which are characteristics for periodontitis. In order to restriction of intensification of free-radical oxidation processes in patients with chronic generalized periodontitis in conducting comprehensive drug therapy, it is recommended to use Mexidol with high antioxidant and neurotropic properties.

In the complex treatment of inflammatory diseases of periodontitis, the complex use of events, including oral cavity hygiene, elimination of risk factors, indication of antimicrobial, immune-modulator agents as well as antioxidants and anti hypoxants, is pathologically stipulated, as oxidizing process appears in all inflammatory processes in the tissues of periodontitis.

2014-06-26T00:00:00+04:00 Copyright (c) https://openjournals.ge/index.php/ATWH/article/view/628 WOMEN RIGHTS IN YEMEN 2014-10-16T11:55:41+04:00 V. Sherbakov nikSherbakov@yahoo.com
The situation with women rights in Yemen shows, that women lack basic health services during pregnancy, delivery and post partum care. In 2013 a maternal mortality rate in Yemen had of 370 deaths per 100,000 live births. The murder of women by their family members in the case of suspect adultery, called “honor killing”, still occur today.

Child marriages remain widespread, exposing girls to domestic violence and trunk acting their education. On April 27, 2014Yemeni government prepared the draft of Child Rights Law establishing 18 as Yemen’s minimum marriage age.
Some sources indicated current progress with regard to the status of women in Yemen. The international community is well positioned to ensure that linkages are built and strengthened between women from all segments of society and from all geographical regions, urban and rural. This will increase participation and enhance representation in the public arena for all Yemeni women. 2014-06-26T00:00:00+04:00 Copyright (c) https://openjournals.ge/index.php/ATWH/article/view/629 NANOMEDICINE 2014-10-16T11:56:54+04:00 I.
