Aims and Scope

Caucasus Law Journal publishes original scholarship that advances the understanding of law and contributes to substantive academic debate. The Journal welcomes research from any field of law and concerning any jurisdiction. Submissions should address a clearly defined legal question, develop a well-supported argument, and engage critically with relevant legal sources and scholarship.

The Journal welcomes doctrinal, comparative, and interdisciplinary approaches, as well as research informed by legal practice. It considers scholarly articles, academic reviews, and analyses of legislation and judicial practice. English translations of previously published scholarly work may also be considered where they serve a clear academic purpose and the necessary publication rights have been secured.

The Journal assesses each submission on the originality and quality of its analysis, its contribution to legal scholarship, and its relevance to the Journal’s scope.
