The Journals included in the Platform of Georgian Academic Journals are recommended to meet the following criteria:

 

• Be published on a regular basis, desirable without delays in its two most recent issues
• Have an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) as registered and confirmed with the ISSN International Center
• Publish open access content
• Journal articles should present the result of original research 
• Abstracts and keywords should be included in the articles 
• Use standardized bibliographic references
• Use institutional Emails when submitting information about authors

 

Journals should provide the following information on the journal website :

 

• Editorial board (including names, surnames and institutional affiliations), description of editorial process and peer review type
• Aims and scopes of the journal
• Copyright and Licensing
• Author charges (APC). In case the journal does not have any charges, this should be stated
• Author Guidelines (including information about technical parameters of manuscript submission, citation style etc.)
• Contact information
